An Anaesthesiologist by profession and the Director of Bhalerao ENT Hospital, Pune, India, Dr. Maya developed an affinity for watercolor paintings a few years ago. She was so captivated by the medium, she began to nurture this hobby by practicing diligently.

Her passion for colors, her bold strokes and vivid imaginations have given birth to many beautiful landscapes. Her paintings represent a symbol and enthusiasm she has towards life.

Her connection to nature is her prime inspiration. She conveys a sense of place by capturing its fleeting mystery and magic. Her art is a demonstration of her ingenuity. By exhibiting great control over watercolor medium, Dr. Maya brings out the best using transparency, the fluidity and its ethereal effect.
